SUFFOLK - Evelyn Lenora Nelms, 79, died June 26, 2010 at her residence.
She was the widow of Leslie F. Nelms Jr. at the time of his death; they were married 58 years. She was the daughter of the late Nina and Joseph H. Briggs. Evelyn was a member of Suffolk Christian Church and worked as a certified nursing assistant.
